Quiet, relaxing Bolinas gem

Truly one of our favorite places we've stayed. James's cottage is a lovely, well-constructed gem of a place. We visited during a chilly part of April in NorCal and we were cozy and warm without ever turning on the heater. Big, private, fenced yard with beautiful plants and flowers, mature landscaping. I was initially skeptical of the platform bed but it was extremely comfortable as was the little loft. The whole place is well maintained and so cozy. As others have said, it's super close to several beaches, in a quiet neighborhood. James was very responsive when we had some initial confusion - quick, thorough and totally accommodating. He gave us super clear instructions and we had everything we needed. Would love to return.

Would come again for a weekend away

It was a lovely stay that was clean, easy to locate, had all of the amenities to feel comfortable and relaxed, and was perfect for having a weekend to get out of dodge. Really a lovely, quaint experience and I could see myself easily drawn back for a break in the daily routine in the future.

Gorgeous

The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of this cabin! We were here during a major wind and rainstorm, and were so warm and happy in this airy and quiet space. One of the more unique and lovely homes we’ve rented - highly recommend.

best vacation ever

this cottage was perfect it was so cozy and the decor was wonderful the hottub was so relaxing the bed was comfortable the kitchen was awesome and the fireplace was relaxing it was a little hard to find but the owner helped us find it the yard is beautiful and all the people were so nice the propane bbq was amazing and my favorite was the stained glass window that had some lyrics from the pink floyd song I will definately be back the yard had wonderful plants and decorations
