Boreal Mountain and Soda Springs, two family-friendly Tahoe ski resorts are a 35-minute drive from the property, perfect for snowy day trips. Beautiful hotspots like the Yuba River and Scotts Flat Lake are also a quick drive away. Additionally, there are countless hiking and biking trails surrounding the property.

Boasting 3,300 sq ft of living, the interior of Peaceful Pines is composed of carefully curated antiques and designer furnishings. Sit under the high ceilings in the living room and engage in some playful competition over a board game. Steps from here, the chef's kitchen features a full suite of stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and a sizable breakfast bar. When you aren't dining around the formal dining table inside, eat alfresco amidst the sounds of nature.

Gorgeously appointed, the two primary bedrooms offer fabulous perks like work desks and dazzling en suite bathrooms complete with soaking tubs. Bohemian fixtures and inviting color palettes fill each room, ensuring everyone's rest and comfort. When additional sleeping arrangements are needed, there is an air mattress available. Central air-conditioning and a private washer/dryer tie together the interior conveniences.

As the stars begin to fill the night sky, head back outside and gaze up at unforgettable views from the comfort of the patio.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Cell service is spotty in and around the house. Save your directions and check-in instructions ahead of time.

This Vacasa Guestworks vacation rental is operated and managed locally by an independent host.
Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services.

Security camera details: There are cameras located on the exterior of the home. There are no cameras located inside the home or pointed towards the inside of the home.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
