Come enjoy a unique 1887 carriage house on 16 acres of meadow ~ situated between the popular Seneca and Cayuga Wine Trails, and an easy drive to the sweet villages of Watkins Glen (15mins), Trumansburg (15 mins), Ithaca (30mins), & so much more. Experience our lakes, state parks, wineries, breweries, & local food wizards. Walk our acres of meadow and pond, gather around the firepit, take in the dark and starry sky, or cozy up to the fire with a blanket & good book ~ time away from the usual!
The Hector Carriage House is one of four stays on our property, each with its own private firepit & outdoor space, that can be rented together or separately! While the carriage house is available year-round, the 2 Airstreams and Meadow House are only available seasonally. Please inquire for booking the Estate.

Hector is quiet, with a sky full of stars at night and gorgeous nature by day. It is close to both Seneca and Cayuga Wine trails, Watkins Glen State Park, Watkins Glen International racetrack, Farm Sanctuary, the world famous Corning Glass Museum, and dozens of wineries, cafes, and brew pubs. We hope you enjoy escaping to, relaxing, and exploring this unique and peaceful place as much as we do! 
Carriage House guests have access to the main house with fire pit & picnic table, and share access to 16 acres of meadow & wildlife ponds.
The Carriage House sleeps 8 in 2 king bedrooms, 1 twin trundle bedroom, and 1 Lazyboy queen sleeper sofa - all with high quality Casper or Tuft & Needle memory foam mattresses and 100% cotton bedding.

First floor has a great room with gas fireplace, kitchen, full bath, and tv room with Lazyboy queen sleeper sofa. The second level has 2 king bedrooms and 1 bedroom with twin daybed and pop-up twin trundle (all with a/c). The house is heated with radiant heat, and equipped with high-speed Internet, Apple TV, and plenty of puzzles, games, books, and dvds for your entertainment. There's even shuffleboard on the mezzanine :-) 

Set in the meadows of the Finger Lakes National Forest, our property hosts 4 individually-booked sites, each with their own separate outdoor space and firepit. While the Carriage House is available year-round, the 2 Airstreams and Meadow House are only available each May-Oct.

Explore the quiet country roads on bike, or hike a nearby segment of the Finger Lakes Trail. You might go exploring by car, checking out the gorgeous lake views around Seneca and debating which of the many wineries, breweries, cider houses, distilleries, and locavore restaurants to explore. We can direct you to kayak rentals, guided fishing trips, public boat launches, and lakeside picnic spots.

It couldn't be a bad choice to simply sit and relax by the bird pond in an Adirondack chair, barbecue on the brick patio, play some horseshoes or bocce, or ignite the gas fireplace and read for hours with no regrets! A car is vital to exploring the Finger Lakes Region. Tours can be arranged for day trips.
