Getting Around:
This retro resort, with its five unique trailers, sits 14 miles northeast of downtown Fredericksburg, a historical town with abundant German influence in the heart of Texas wine country. Head into town to peruse the farmers market, dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants, do a bit of shopping, or taste the local varietals at a number of wine tasting rooms. Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is 12 miles northwest, where you can hike, set out a picnic, go birding, stargaze, or go rock climbing.
