With the river running through the village, scattered parks just beyond the center and a number of offshore islands a short boat ride away, there are plenty of spots to explore. Fly into T.F. Green Airport (PVD), the closest airport, located 37.6 mi (60.4 km) from the city center. If you can't find a flight that works for your travel itinerary, you could also fly into New London, CT (GON-Groton - New London), which is 4.4 mi (7.1 km) away.
